Christie Hart delved into the world of music education while still in high school, under the mentorship of a teacher who taught her to read musical scores, conduct, and run band rehearsals as part of her senior project. The idea of helping others grow as musicians became the only career path she wanted to consider. To further her studies she focused her college education on Humanities with a focus in music, and later in Instrumental Music Education.
Along the way, Christie has held positions in coaching parade marching, teaching elementary level band, has had more than 20 years of experience in teaching private flute and piano lessons, and has held other music positions such as program administration and music librarian. Private lessons are her primary passion because students get the individual attention they need to be successful with their own musical goals.
